Hi, I'm Patty!
Becoming a Flight Attendant was always a dream of mine. It's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made, but when I first started, I had no idea where to begin. I remember feeling overwhelmed by the application process, unsure of what airlines were looking for, and nervous about training.
I currently work for United Airlines and based in Washington, D.C., I started my career at SkyWest Airlines over six years ago, before switching to mainline. Now, I'm navigating life between reserve and holding a line at a major airline. I've learned exactly what it takes to get hired and succeed in this career.
That's why I created this platform - to give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to land your dream job. Whether you're just starting your journey or preparing for interviews, I'm here to help you every step of the way!

Most airlines require a high school diploma or GED, customer service experience, and the ability to pass a background check and physical exam. You must also meet height, grooming, and language requirements, depending on the airline. No prior flight experience is necessary - airlines provide training after you're hired!
The process varies by airline but can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. It typically includes an online application, video interview, in-person assessment, and final interview. Once hired, you'll complete several weeks of intensive training before officially becoming a flight attendant.
Yes! Being a flight attendant offers amazing travel perks, flexible schedules, great benefits, and the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. While the job can be demanding with long hours and time away from home, many flight attendants love the freedom, excitement, and lifestyle that comes with the career.
